Started at cornerback position during the Aggies Spring Blue & Gold Game where he returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown … Abram also broke up a pass in the game …  Has good size to compete against the taller receivers in the conference … Has also played a key role on special teams where he has six career special teams tackles … Has a strong football pedigree after his cousin Chad Abram was a starting fullback at Florida State and his father was a standout at Grambling State … Saw his first action as an Aggie in 2015 after he redshirted in 2014 … Has played in 24 games with three starts.  2016 Season: Played in 12 games with three starts … Started to break through as a solid defensive player for the Aggies … Made 20 tackles (13 unassisted) with five pass defenses and one interception from his corner position … Recovered a fumble at Tulsa on Sept. 17 … Had his first career interception and also broke up a pass in a 62-0 win over St. Augustine’s on Sept. 3 … Made four tackles (3 unassisted) in a 30-20 win over S.C.
